The Raid

August 16, 2030. I was picking cucumbers in the garden when the soldiers came.

August 13, 2030. Now that we’ve had this big conference, I should at least mention what’s going on in other places around the world.

August 11, 2030. We’re still working out the details, but one thing is clear. I’m going back to Miami.

August 8, 2030. I’m trying not to get my hopes up about this until the details are settled.

August 5, 2030. What a weekend! I still haven’t explained what happened on Sunday. It’s hard to put into words, but I’ll do my best.
